Day 6: CUSCO - PUNO (The Sun route)

The tour starts with the check-in of boarding ticket and luggage check-in 6:40 a.m. (Exact departure time: 7:00 a.m.)

After lunch we will resume our trip in the direction of the Paso de la Raya (4,335 m.a.s.l.), the border between the cities of Cusco and Puno, where the famous snow-capped mountain Chimboya is located, from which the Amazon River originates and some famous thermal waters that bear the same name.

Already inside the region of Puno, our next point to visit will be the lithic museum of Pukara (3,900 msnm), in this museum, we will be able to find ceramics and sculptures representing morphic zoo figures, among them the famous sculpture of the "Hatunñaqaq" that in our times would be translated like the supreme cutthroat.

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to go on a transport to the pier or port main. Around 7:00 am, we start the departure towards the floating islands of the Uros, currently considered the Lake Titicaca National Reserve.
